Supporting Kedem

Kedem depends on the contributions of our whole community. Here are just a few of the ways you can help make Kedem happen:

Donate Money

Kedem has no paid staff and does not charge membership fees. However, we have many expenses that are crucial to the minyan's existence, including: rent, heat, insurance, repairs to our Sefer Torah, photocopying, etc. We rely on contributions for our entire operating budget.

Your donations are most appreciated. Please make checks (in USD or NIS) payable to "Kehilat Kedem" and mail them to:

Sponsor Kiddush

Mark a special event or make any Shabbat special.
You can either purchase snacks for Kiddush yourself (we'll give you a sample shopping list) or donate the funds for someone to buy for you. If you would like to sponsor kiddush, please write to Aviva Lewis, our Kiddush Coordinator, at kedem@kehilatkedem.org.

Volunteer

If you want to get involved in making future services happen (whether by leading services, organizing other events, or being part of the Kedem volunteer team), please contact kedem@kehilatkedem.org. You can also sign up to read Torah or Haftarah online on the Leyning signup page.

Washing up Cups! As an enviromentally friendly community, Kedem uses re-usable cups at kiddush.

Helping with Set up and Clean up! Kedem needs help before and after services.
