Welcome to Kehilat Kedem!

Kehilat Kedem is a traditional egalitarian minyan in the Germany Colony neighborhood of Jerusalem that meets Shabbat and holiday mornings. We strive to create a warm and welcoming prayer community with davening and Torah reading that are both spiritually uplifting and technically precise.

We daven the full matbea (i.e. the complete traditional service), and women and men participate equally. Kedem does not have a rabbi or cantor and is not affiliated with any movement. The minyan is entirely lay-led and volunteer-run.
